December 28, 2002 - Volclay Dongming Industrial Minerals Co. Ltd. (VDM) was named "Best Supplier of the Year" by Fujiwa (Kunshan) Machinery Co., Ltd. Pictures attached. Donna Wang, sales manager for Volclay Dongming, and Li Xiangdong, regional sales manager, attended the conference and presented remarks to the more than 200 suppliers.

December 2002 - Volclay Dongming Industrial Minerals Co., Ltd. was ISO 9001:2000 certified by China Quality Control Center and UKAS - a well-known, worldwide certifying body based in the U.K.
- Volclay Dongming's Employee of the Year
December 26, 2002 - Mr. Wang Huanqi, lab supervisor, and Mr. Liu Guangfu, drilling group foreman, were named "Employees of the Year" for 2002 by Volclay Dongming Industrial Minerals Co. Ltd.
- CETCO Division.
October 2002 - CETCO Division, led by Mr. Steven Kuo, offers world-known CETCO drilling and landfill lining products. The drilling product business focuses on horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and foundation drilling. Currently imported from the United States, manufacturing of drilling products in China will begin by April 2003, allowing us to better serve our customers in China and Asia.
CETCO's lining technology focuses on geosynthetic clay liners (GCL) for landfill projects on lining and capping applications. With the economic expansion of China and increased environmental awareness, there is huge potential growth in this market. A production plant to manufacture GCLs will be built in mid-2003 and we anticipate the first run of our GCL products by the end of the year.
